Get Fit For Research Month was held along with National Cancer Research Month in May. Participants gather for a photo after a successful class at RowZone in Philadelphia. The class raised $400 for cancer research.

The 7th Annual Hogga Golf Tournament took place on June 14, 2019, honoring Robert Hogga, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer seven years ago. The event raised $7,500 for the AACR.

The 10th Annual Mike Missanelli Open took place on May 16, 2019, at Ron Jaworski’s Downingtown Country Club in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. All proceeds from the event were donated to the AACR.

AACR Runners for Research were among the participants in the 10-mile Broad Street Run, held in May in Philadelphia.

The “Reaching for the Stars” gala, sponsored by Party With a Purpose, was held in Philadelphia in October to benefit the AACR.
