On October 7, 2024, the AACR kicked off its inaugural Grantee Summit in Philadelphia, which aimed to support the training of current AACR grant recipients through scientific, networking, and career development sessions. The event brought grantees from across the country and around the world together with distinguished speakers, funding partners, and AACR staff.

The 2024 Industry Roundtable, the principal event of the AACR Sustaining Membership Program, helped connect corporate partners aligned with the AACR’s mission to prevent and cure cancer. Representatives from biopharmaceutical companies that are sustaining members attended the event, which also included cancer researchers, AACR leaders, officials from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and patient advocates as invited speakers.
