The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) was the title partner for the 2021 Philadelphia Marathon. The marathon, held Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, was the final event of the three-race weekend, following the Rothman 8K and the Dietz & Watson Philadelphia Half Marathon.

Kevin Glover crosses the finish line at the 2021 AACR Philadelphia Marathon. Glover ran his second marathon with the AACR Runners for Research program and raised more than $1,900 for the AACR in honor of his mother, who was diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer six years ago.

Patient advocate exhibitors welcomed attendees at the AACR Advocacy Partners Pavilion at the AACR Annual Meeting 2022. The Pavilion allowed attendees to connect with advocates leading the fight against cancer.

The AACR Foundation partnered with Bean2Bean Coffee Co.—a family-owned specialty coffee roaster in Philadelphia—to release the AACR Roast for Research. More than 100 bags of the Brazilian coffee were sold through December 2021, and a portion of the proceeds from each bag was donated to the AACR.
